The California Department of Education (CDE) has provided Assessment Fact Sheets which are single-page flyers that answer key questions (what, why, who, how, and when) about each assessment program in California. The State of California has released a new school accountability system - California Schools Dashboard. Please click on the "Read More" button below to read an article that was posted in the Desert Dispatch regarding the unveiling of this new system for measuring school success, and to see how well SVUSD has scored along other local high desert school districts.

With the State releasing final scores for the CAASPP, SVUSD students outscored all other high desert districts!

The transitional kindergarten through fifth grade school within the Silver Valley Unified School District was recognized as a gold winner by the California PBIS Coalition for successful PBIS implementation. It is the only High Desert School to receive a gold medal.
